Parintins is located at the right margin of the Amazon River and 420 km away from Manaus through fluvial ways. Is a typical city from the Amazonian inland, with no more than 50 thousand inhabitants, that gets transformed when the month of June comes. During this period, Parintins becomes the stage of the biggest cultural manifestation of North Brazil, the Folkloric Festival of Parintins that divides the city between the colours blue and red. 

From June 28th to 30th, on every night, we observe the spectacle created by the blocks "Bumbás Garantido" (red and white) and "Caprichoso" (blue and white) that present a real Amazonian ritual with typical characters dancing to the sound of tunes and tolling from the drums. "Garantido" and "Caprichoso" quarrel in the arena the evolution of their rituals. 

Marked by the magic of the fantastic figures that came from the Amazonian imaginary, the presentations are based on legends that crossed generations to revive their strength on the thematic of each bull.
