Pick-up & Drop-off in the Hotel. Itinerary carefully elaborated to enable you to discover the main attractions. The rubber boom during the second half of the 19th century created a golden era, and witnessed the constructions of luxurious public and private buildings that you will see. First point to visit is the Municipal Market Adolpho Lisboa, built between 1883 and 1897 by BAKUS&BRISBIN. Most of the material was imported from Europe, like the columns from Scotland and the colored windows in the style of Les Halles from Paris. Inside its metallic structure we can find regional products and handicraft. Afterwards we will visit the Rio Negro Palace, former Government Palace, and take a view on the nearby creek with the typical houses on stilts. Then we will visit the Teatro Amazonas, better known as the Amazon Opera House, the main symbol from the golden ages of the rubber boom. Its construction started in 1884, but due to financial problems it was only inaugurated in 1896 by the Governor Eduardo Ribeiro. Built entirely with imported materials, the glass roof tiles came from France, doors and staircases from England and Italy, crystal chandeliers from Italy, and the stage and outside dome from Paris. Its styling is eclectic, part art-nouveau, part neo-classic, part baroque. Due to the restoration done a few years ago, it has kept all the splendor of that period. Visit the Indian Museum and Zoological Garden of Manaus. Return to the hotel. |

City Tour with Meeting of the Waters |

to discover the main attractions. The rubber boom during the second half
of the 19th century created a golden era, and witnessed the constructions
of luxurious public and private buildings that you will see. After the
City Tour transfer to the docks of Manaus. Cruise down the Negro river,
with a view of the shoreline of Manaus with lumber mills, floating markets,
river “buses”,
the industrial park and the houses on stilts. After about 30 km,
arrival at the “meeting of the waters”, where the two largest rivers
of the region meet but do not mix for six kilometers creating a spectacle
of the dark waters of the Negro and the muddy waters of the Solimoes
rivers, which then end up forming the Amazon river. Difference in density,
temperature and velocity of the two rivers contributes to form this
phenomenon. Cruise on the Amazon river and along the natural channels and
if the water level permits, proceed to Lake Janaury to see the Victoria
Regia water lillies. Return to the big boat and sail back to the docks of
Manaus. Return
transfer to the hotel.

from the hotel about 19:00 h typical dinner at the
restaurant El Toro Loco considered one of the best restaurants in town,
besides the buffet of salads and Japanese food or Churrascaria (barbecue).
After dinner transfer to the Ponta Negra Beach with a presentation of an
authentic folkloric show where the Indian culture of the area will
be shown. Free time for walking along the
Ponta Negra Beach where you will see the local night life, with Music Bars
like Jack'n'Blues and others. Opcional
vistit of a local show in the city. Return

piranhas. Return to the big boat and sail back to the docks of Manaus.

| Presidente Figueiredo |
|
| Departing
from Manaus to President Figueiredo in van with air-conditioning, visiting
the waterfall of Asframa, the caverne of Maruaga and the waterfall Santuário.
Lunch at Presidente Figueiredo village and visit to the Urubuí rapid.
After lunch, you visit the Iracema falls, Palácio Galo da Serra caves and
Araras waterfalls, walking in trails in the forest with possible stop for
bathing in the clean and cold water to refresh of the hot weather. Return
to Manaus.
